​Choco y sus Cómplices is an explosive 16-piece Timba orchestra founded by Luxembourgish percussionist Eric Durrer — one of Europe’s top conga players and a passionate ambassador of Latin music.

With a line-up that fuses classical Charanga elements (violin, cello, flute) with a fiery horn section, grooving rhythm, and four powerhouse vocalists, this ensemble delivers a high-energy cocktail of Cuban and Brazilian music, jazz, funk, and Afro-Caribbean flavor.

Durrer, known as “Choco,” brings decades of international experience from Cuba, New York, and beyond — including performances with Grammy-winner Michel Camilo — and a deep desire to reconnect the elements of Latin culture: music, dance, joy, and community.
